Visiting London once should be on the to do list of any person who likes to see the world. The largest and most famous of London’s many churches – and undoubtedly one of the most spectacular cathedral’s in the world – St. Paul’s Cathedral sits atop the site of a Roman temple. The previous church structure was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666, and Sir Christopher Wren designed the rebuild. Today, the twin Baroque towers and magnificent 365-foot dome of St. Paul’s are a masterpiece of English architecture. If you’re up to it, be sure to walk the stairs with their spectacular views of the dome’s interior, including the Whispering Gallery.
Appian Way – The Appian Way is the most famous ancient road in Rome, connecting the city with Brindisi in southeastern Italy. Named after Appius Claudius Caecus, a Roman censor, it was originally a military road. Many historical monuments can be found along the first 8 km (5 miles) of the 560 km (350-mile) stone road today. This old highway has heavy vehicle traffic at the beginning, but is safe for pedestrians after a couple of miles.
Most rated Vancouver locations : Vancouver’s first tourist attraction opened in 1889 and has been thrilling visitors with its swaying bridge over a plummeting canyon ever since. The footbridge spans a 70-meter deep river canyon leading to an activity park filled with forest trails and a treetop walk through old-growth giants. There’s also a collection of totem poles and a transparent suspended platform known as the Cliffwalk. Also along Capilano Road, Capilano Salmon Hatchery is worth a visit (in fall especially) to spot flashing salmon as they try to swim upstream. The fish ladder, a series of staggered pools, allows fish to bypass Cleveland Dam. Underwater windows give visitors a look at their efforts.

Africa is a awesome location if you are looking for raw nature exploration. None of the most popular safari destinations – South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Botswana – has travel advisories against them, but check smarttraveller.gov.au for updates before you travel. Health-wise, ebola is a non-issue: the World Health Organisation declared the 2014-15 outbreak officially over early last year and it was on the opposite side of this vast continent anyway. Even if you travel regularly to developing countries and keep up to date with vaccines such as tetanus, it’s wise to see your GP or a travel specialist such as the Travel Doctor (traveldoctor.com.au) at least six weeks before your trip to discuss possible health issues in the areas you’ll be visiting.
A few selected travel locations that i believe must be visited at least once. Scandinavia and especially Finland is a wonderful travel destination. Copenhagen – Another place that should be high on your Scandinavian wish list is Copenhagen. If your impression of the Danish capital is of bleak, glowering streets gleaned from gloomy Scandi Noir detective series, think again. The epitome of cool, this is a trendy and welcoming waterside city with a lively and surprisingly hip cafe, bar and music scene. Europe’s cycling capital, it’s a great place to explore by bike, or by boat. From the historic 12th-century castle and grand royal palaces to the traditional Tivoli Gardens and alternative ‘free town’ of Christiania, the city’s attractions are varied.

Mexico is a fabulous place if you are looking for adventure and ancient history exploration. In the Bajio mountains of Central Mexico, there is a small colonial destination known as San Miguel de Allende. The city is bursting with history: It was founded by a San Franciscan Monk, played a big role in the war for Mexican independence from Spain and was a vital spot on the Mexican silver trail. Today, it is best known for its colonial architecture and enchanting cobblestone streets. Historic buildings like the pink Teatro Angela Peralta and the Santuario de Atotonilco, an enormous church complex, are among the top attractions in the city.
